Facilities: Adams Field is an 8-lane track. Only rubber-soled shoes or
shoes with spikes not exceeding ¼ inch in length will be permitted. The shot and discus areas are concrete, so rubber-soled shoes only may be worn. No scratch marks of any kind will be allowed. Chalk, Bean bags, or half tennis balls may be used. Entrance/Exit of the track and infield will only be via the gate north of the home stands; all other entrances will remain closed.
Infield: No one except officials, coaches, or competitors will be
allowed to enter the track area. Team Camps will be permitted along the west perimeter fence of the stadium. If the ground is too wet, camps can also be on the adjacent asphalt. Please have your teams enter through the main SW gate of the stadium upon arrival.
Bus Parking: All buses should enter campus at the north entrance near the stadium and tennis courts. Continue around the circle at the Athletic entrance and drop off along the west tennis courts. Once drop off is complete, immediately proceed north on Waukegan Rd to the Bannockburn Lake Office Plaza for parking (2nd entrance north). In the event of inclement weather, teams will be sent inside to various gym spaces.
Track Markings: White: 100M, 110M Hurdles, 200M, 300M Hurdles, 400M, 1600M/3200M Waterfall, Common Finish Line
Yellow: 4x100M Relay 4x200M Relay 3rd Exchange
Black: 4x200M Relay 1st & 2nd Exchange
Blue: 4x400M 1st Exchange
Green: 4x400M 2nd & 3rd Exchange
Locker Facilities: Locker facilities will NOT be provided.
Athletic Trainer: Deerfield High School will have an Athletic Trainer on site. Let us know if you need to see an athletic trainer for last-minute taping. Please make sure to have your team bring their own supplies if you anticipate this happening. If you need to use heating packs or other treatment supplies, please notify the athletic trainers in advance by email at gcimino@dist113.org
Spectators: Admission will be $8.00 per child, student, or adult and must be purchased through the GoFan digital ticketing platform. https://gofan.co/event/3600203?schoolId=IHSA
Concessions: Concessions will be available beneath the west (home) stands.
Apparel: Custom Sectional apparel will be available from Specialty Art & Design directly behind the west (home) stands. Items available include: t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, and hooded sweatshirts. Prices range from $20-75. Events: The order of events is enclosed in the packet. The Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, and Discus will be 3 attempts, with 9 moving on to finals to get another 3 attempts. Triple Jump will follow Long Jump. Weigh-in for Shot Put and Discus will take place at the throwing area. Weigh-in for Pole Vault will take place on the asphalt adjacent to the common finish line.
Scoring: Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for all events
Awards: The 1st place team will receive a plaque. Athletes and Relays finishing 1st-
6th will receive medals.

Triple Jump 3 Attempts, Top 9 to Finals. Following the Long Jump.
Discus 3 Attempts, Top 9 to Finals. Flight 1 first, then in order.
Shot Put 3 Attempts, Top 9 to Finals. Flight 1 will begin during Discus Flight 3, then in order. Finals to follow Flight 3.
Pole Vault Starting height TBA. Bar increases by 0.15m. 2 Flights.
