Facility: Round Lake High School Stadium. Our facility has an eight lane track. 1⁄4 inch spikes or smaller are permitted on the track surface. 

Team Camps: Team camps can be set up outside the stadium to the east of shot put.  There is a gate to allow easy access to and from the stadium and team camps.  Click HERE for a map of team camps.

Entries: Each school will be allowed 2 entries per event and 1 relay team per event. Limit of four events per athlete.  You will receive an email from Ben Palmberg at PFV Performance to submit your entries on Athletic.net.  Entries are due Wednesday, May 7 by 12:00 PM. 

Timing:  Fully Automated Timing will be provided by Ben Palmberg on Athletic.net

(Athletics Live).

 

Scratches: Scratches can be made at the tent at the finish line from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM.

Coaches Meeting: A coaches meeting will be held at the finish line  at 4:00 PM. Please have someone from your staff there at that time.  

 

Workers: We will have an IHSA-licensed official to run each field event, but we will still need coaches from each school to assist in the running of field events and coverage of exchange zones.  

 

Exchange Zones:  Exchange Zones will be done by Head Coaches.  Your zone assignments will be in your meet packets and will be available at the Coaches Meeting.

 

Admission: $5.00 Adults

$2.00 for children and students (Children age 5 and under are free)

$1.00 for senior citizens

 

Scoring/Awards: The meet will be scored 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 in all events.  Medals will be handed out to the top 8 finishing individuals/relays. A plaque will be awarded to the first place team. Awards and results will be given at the end of the meet and can be picked up in the press box.

Games Committee:  The Games Committee was drawn at random and will include: Carmel Catholic, Grayslake Central, Libertyville, Round Lake, and Vernon Hills

Buses: Buses will DROP OFF athletes at the entrance to the stadium. BUSES should park in the Northeast Lot.  Please see the provided map for drop off and parking area information.  Our school dismissal is 3:15pm, so the parking lot will be busy.  We suggest entering the parking lot from Sunset Dr (at the back of the school) to avoid the long parent pickup line by Cedar Lake Rd (front of the school).

Concessions: Concessions will be available for purchase (cash or card).  Coaches will be given a meal ticket (4 per school).  

Athletic Trainer: A certified athletic trainer will be on-site to treat injuries. Water and ice will also be available.

Bullpen: We will set up a bullpen on the south end of the infield. Athletes in most running events will report to this area upon being called. Athletes in the 100m, 100 HH, 200m and 300 IH will report directly to their event area.
