The composite results combining the two sides will be what is displayed on the live results. These live results will be available at results.pfvperformance.net. The final results will be posted on athletic.net after conclusion of the meet.
Bus Drop Off: Please have your bus drive all the way down Warrior Way to the back of the school and drop off the team in the back (east) parking lot by our softball fields, which is where team camps will be. After drop off, buses must leave the school parking lots to make room for spectator parking. Buses may park a quarter mile north of the school at Bannockburn Plaza (2101 Waukegan Road).

If the t-shirts sell out, there will be an opportunity for individuals to order a t-shirt to be delivered to your school. There will also be a limited number of “retro” t-shirts from the 2018 CSL Championships available for purchase.
Weather: In the event of severe weather, athletes and coaches will be directed into the cafeteria. Spectators should return to their vehicles.
Course: The courses are 2.0 and 3.0 miles and are mostly flat. The surface is grass except for a few short gravel sections and two concrete road crossings. The one-mile and two-mile split locations are marked on the map and will be marked on the course. The course is made up of two different loops: the start/finish loop on the northeast side of the river, and the softball/baseball field loop on the southwest side of the river. For the three-mile races, the runners start on the start/finish side and do a complete loop of the perimeter, switch to the softball/baseball side where the runners do two complete loops, and then they return to the start/finish loop for the finish. For the two-mile races, the course is the same except there is only one softball/baseball loop (instead of two) and they cut off a chunk of the start/finish loop at the very beginning. The one-mile split for the two-mile race is in the same place as the two-mile split for the three-mile race (i.e., the location where there’s one mile to go). We want to emphasize that coaches should make sure their runners know how many softball/baseball field loops to do. That tends to be the most misunderstood part of the course, and in some races, runners may get lapped which has caused confusion in the past. Two-mile races return to the start/finish area after just one loop, and three-mile races return to the start/finish area after two loops. There will be signage, but it is hard to read the signs while running, so please prepare your runners in advance. Please reach out to Deerfield’s coaches if you have any questions about the course.
