2022 CSL North Freshman Invitational

Location Maine West High School - 1755 South Wolf Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018

Competing Teams: Deerfield, Highland Park, Maine East, Maine West, Niles North, & Vernon Hills

Visiting Maine West
-Entrances on Oakton or Howard, Wolf entrance by tennis courts will be blocked (now one way)

-Spectators are welcome - plenty of parking is available on the north side of the field house for parents

-Team camps are welcomed in either set of bleachers or near the concession stand

Maine West Track and Field Facility

-Track has six lanes

-Check-in (prior to 3rd call), lane numbers and bullpen located on south end of football field
-30m exchange zones

-All field events in stadium except discus - located west of stadium

-Long and triple jump on the south runway (by flagpole); 8, 12, 20, 24, 28, 32, and 40’ boards available
-Weigh-ins for throwing implements will take place in the concession stand garage

-Maine West trainer will be on site and available for medical help throughout the meet

-Thorguard system will be active, coaches will meet to decide how to handle weather

Awards:

There will be awards for 1st–6th for individuals and 1st–5th for relays. The Conference Championship plaque will be awarded to the winning team.

Long Jump (4 jumps, no finals, cafeteria style) - unlimited entries, two from each school may score

Triple Jump (4 jumps, no finals, cafeteria style) - follows long jump

Shot Put (4 throws, no finals) - unlimited entries, two from each school may score

Discus (4 throws, no finals) - follows shot put

High Jump (Starting Height TBA)   

Pole Vault (Starting Height TBA)
