The bus for the track & field meet at Grayslake Central on Saturday, May 1st is scheduled to leave at 7:20 am. Please get to the high school with enough time to check in before getting on the bus.
All track & field student-athletes must still do the pre-certification and check in with security at the high school before going to the meet. This includes those not taking the bus.
Spectators:
We are excited to announce that D127 is allowing both home and visiting spectators at events. In order for parents to reserve their ticket for an event, on game day, please read the information below. Tickets for home games will not be released until game day!

Click on the ticket icon.

Complete the information requested. This includes self-certification that you and anyone you are getting tickets for is void of any COVID-19 symptoms.

Fever, Cough, Chills, and-or Muscle Aches

Sore Throat, Runny Nose, and or Loss of Taste of Smell

Nausea, Vomiting, and/or Diarrhea

Shortness of Breath and/or Headache
-
Close Contact, or Cared for Someone with Covid-19

Temperature > 100.4°F

You will receive a confirmation email with a unique QR code for the event. Please be prepared to show your QR code when you arrive at the contest.

If there is no ticket icon associated with the contest it means:

The facility is too small to allow spectators.
-
The GCHS Athletic Department has not set up the ticketing for that event yet. Please check back later in the day.
Spectators will be admitted entry into the facility/field in the following manner:

Park in the main parking lot on the North side of the school and enter outside venues from that area. (see map below)

All spectators will check in with a Ticket Taker from GCHS.

All Spectators will display their QR Code for the event either on your phone or with a printed hard copy.

All spectators will need to wear a CDC approved mask at all times while on campus.

Spectators may arrive at the facility no more than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the contest.

Spectators will sit in a socially distant manner. Members of the same household may sit together.

Spectators will need to leave the facility/campus when their student athlete is done competing.
For away games, please look on the front page of the website under the “Guidelines for Central Parents attending NLCC events”.
Entries: Each school will be allowed 3 entries per event and 2 relay teams per event.
Schools: Glenbard East, Grayslake Central, Grayslake North, Prairie Ridge, Lakes, Maine East, Highland Park
Round Lake, Vernon Hills, and Wauconda
Team Camps: The natural grass area to the right or left of the scoreboard is the designated area for team camps. No team areas will be allowed on the infield. The visitor bleachers are available for team camps. ALL CAMPS MUST BE SEPERATE
Scoring: Six places—10-8-6-4-2-1. 1st Place team receives a trophy. Medals: Top 6 finishers in each event.
Awards Will be given at the end of the meet and can be picked up in the press box.
Results: Live results during the meet will be updated on www.pfvperformance.net Final results will be uploaded and posted www.athletic.net
Emergency: In the event of severe weather, please enter the building as quickly as possible and proceed to the Field House.
Schedule of Events:
8:30 a.m. Coaches/Scratch Meeting- Located at the timing tent near the finish line.
9:00 a.m. All Field Events begin
Long Jump followed by Triple Jump (One flight - 4 attempts - No Finals)
High Jump (Start at 4’8” raise 2” increments)
Shot Put (4 attempts no finals) 2 flights-best flight last
Discus (4 Attempts no finals) 2 flight- best flight first
Pole vault (Height TBD)
Running Event 10:00 a.m. start. We will roll the meet
