Facilities: Adams Field is an 8 lane track.  Only rubber soled shoes or

shoes with spikes not exceeding ¼ inch length will be permitted.  The shot and discus areas are concrete, so rubber soled shoes only may be worn.  No scratch marks of any kind will be allowed.  Chalk, Tape, Bean bags or half tennis balls may be used. Entrance/Exit of the track and infield will only be via the gate north of the home stands, all other entrances will remain closed.

 

Areas for athletes: No one except for officials, coaches, and competitors will be

allowed to enter the track area. Team Camps will be permitted along the west perimeter fence of the stadium. Please have your teams enter through the main SW gate of the stadium.

 

Locker Facilities: Locker facilities will NOT be provided.

Admission: Spectator admission is $5.

Concessions: There will be concessions available under the home stands.  

 

Events: The Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus will be 3 attempt semis followed by 3 attempts in finals.  Triple Jump will follow Long Jump. Jumpers will have 1 hour to attempt 3 jumps. Weigh-in for Shot Put, and Discus will take place at throws area.

 

Scoring: Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all individual events.  Scoring will be

10-8-6-4-2-1 for all relay events.

Awards: The 1st – 3rd place teams will receive a plaque.  Varsity athletes finishing 1st-

8th will receive medals.

Long Jump   3 Attempts.  Top 9 to finals immediately after prelims.  Flight 1 on the North Runway, Flight 2 and finals on the South Runway.

High Jump Starting height determined at coaches meeting.

Triple Jump 3 Attemps.  Top 9 to finals following the Long Jump.  Flight 1 on the North Runway, Flight 2 and finals on the South Runway.

Shot Put 3 Attempts.  Top 9 to finals. Flight 2 on the West Ring, Flight 1 on the East Ring.  Finals to follow Discus finals.

Discus 3 Attempts.  Top 9 to finals. Flight 1 followed by Flight 2.  Finals before Shot Put.

Pole Vault Starting height determined at coaches meeting. Measured on the 1’s and 7’s. Flight 1 on East Pit, Flight 2 on West Pit.
