CSL North Outdoor Conference Championship

SITE: Wolters Field- 1080 Park Avenue West, Highland Park, IL 60035
The Central Suburban League, North Division (Varsity & F/S) track meet will be held on Friday,
May 12th 2017 at 4:30 p.m. The following schools have been invited to compete:
Deerfield
Glenbrook North
Highland Park
Maine East
Maine West
Vernon Hills
AWARDS:
On the Varsity and Frosh-Soph level a trophy will be presented for the first place team. In open events medals will be given for places 1-6. In relay events medals will be given for places 1-3. The Frosh-Soph will be awarded ribbons in open events for places 1-6. Frosh-Soph relays will receive ribbons for places 1-3. All awards are based on CSL guidelines.
TEAM SCORING:
10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 - All Events (6th place relays - 0 pts)
ENTRIES:
An athlete may only enter four events on one level.
SHOT/DISCUS WEIGH-IN:
Weigh in will be located in the garage next to the track, and should be completed by 4:15pm.
RULES:
All IHSA rules are expected to be followed.
GAMES COMMITTEE:
The games committee will consist of the starter, and the head coaches.
UNIFORMS:
School uniforms must be worn and in compliance with the sectional rules.
COACHES:
Coaches will be able to be on the infield during the meet, but we ask that you stay away from the finish line area. Non-competing athletes and parents will not be allowed on the infield during the meet.
TEAM AREAS:
Teams are welcome to use the bleachers as their team camp. Otherwise, tents may be set up in grass areas outside the stadium fences on the south end of the track. No tents are allowed in the stadium fencing or near the field events.
TRAINER:
A trainer will be available throughout the meet.
LOCKER ROOMS:
All teams are to dress at home as we do not have enough locker room facilities to accommodate all the teams involved in the meet.
VALUABLES:
Highland Park High School will not be responsible for lost valuables. Each coach and school is asked
to take care of their own valuables.
BATONS:
Each team must furnish its own relay batons.
STARTING BLOCKS:
Will be furnished by the host team.
CONCESSIONS:
Please let your athletes know that a concession stand will be open during the meet. Coaches will be provided meal tickets for the concession stand.

Long Jump - North Runway - F/S followed by Varsity (4 jumps, no finals)
Triple Jump - South Runway - Varsity followed by F/S (4 jumps, no finals)
Shot Put - F/S followed by Varsity (4 throws, no finals)
Discus - Varsity followed by F/S (4 throws, no finals)
