The following rules and regulations must be adhered to in order to run a smooth and efficient track and field meet. We appreciate your help and we hope this is a very successful meet for you and your athletes.
- Report all scratches to the head table prior to the start of the meet (including field event participants).
- The meet will start promptly at 5:00 p.m. If your athletes don’t report on time, they will be scratched from the event.
- Please set up team camps in either the north or south balcony. Only athletes competing or warming up are allowed on the field house floor. NO ATHLETES PERMITTED ON THE MAIN BASKETBALL FLOOR OTHER THAN POLE VAULTERS.
- We will score the meet and have results ready for your school at the end of the meet. Please stay until the end of the meet to receive your awards and score sheets.
- Only 1/8” pyramids will be allowed for athletes to use. ¼” spikes are not permitted. If an athlete reports to race in ¼” spikes, they will NOT be allowed to run and will be disqualified.
- Space is very limited. Do not sit or make camps on the high jump or pole-vault pits. Coaches, please enforce this rule with your athletes. Tell your athletes to leave their valuables at home or with you. There are no locker room facilities available.
- No food, candy, gum, or soft drinks are allowed on the floor of the Field House. Keep all food and drink in the team camp area in the balcony. Please help us keep the running track and field event areas a place of safety.
