Lukaas Nales Finishes 12th in the 400 Meter Dash at IHSA 3A State Meet!

Sophomore Lukaas Nales competed well at his first IHSA 3A State Track & Field Championship in the 400 meter dash. He had the 12th fastest time in the prelims with a 50.95. Overall, the prelim times for the 400s were slow for a State Meet with only 4 guys running sub 50 seconds. Nales even had a faster time than the winner of the final heat. 

Lukaas gained important experience from this meet and will come back ready to earn an all-state medal next season. He finished 12th overall and was the top underclassmen in the event. It will be exciting to see what Lukaas and his teammates can accomplish next season as they work hard and continue to trust the process. Big things to come for the Giants!
