Ari Rothschild Earns All-State Honors
Sunday, November 7 2010 - IHSA State Cross Country Meet - Ari RothschildIt has been a long journey. Through hard work, commitment, and mental toughness, senior Ari Rothschild has reached his goal of becoming an Illinois All-State Cross Country Runner. He did so by finishing in 22nd place in one of the fastest and deepest Illinois State Cross Country Meets ever! Ari ran his race plan to perfection to finish in an incredible time of 14:41 for 3 miles, just 10 seconds behind 4th place! This gives him the 3rd fastest time ever by a Highland Park runner on the Detweiller Park course in Peoria.

Ari has worked very hard for many years to get to this point. It was such a satisfying feeling for everyone that has been part of Ari's cross country career. It is a well deserved honor that shows that hard work and dedication pay off and that the training he has been doing works.
Thank you to all of the team members, alumni, friends, and family that were there to support Ari. It was greatly appreciated by the coaches and by Ari.

Push to the finish!

"I DID IT!"

Acknowledging his teammates.
