Freshmen Finish 2nd In Red Division At Pat Savage Invite
Sunday, October 3 2010 - Niles West Pat Savage InviteAri Bell helped the freshmen team get out to a fast start. After that, the pack helped the team claim second place in the Red Division at the Niles West Pat Savage Invite behind Glenbrook South. It was a nice performance by the freshmen! The top finishers for the Highland Park team were Liam Carter 6th, Ari Bell 7th, Griffin Bojan 12th, James Rector 13th, and Jeremy Bloom 20th. The freshmen were running with out one of their top runners, Angel Estrada, who was not racing due to some recent leg pain.
What does the future hold for this group of freshmen?????
Will they make the commitment to be full time distance runners and do something special during their four years of high school?
Only time will tell...maybe we are looking at the 2013 State Champions.
