Several HP Alumni Compete At Indoor Track & Field Meets

At the Iowa State Track & Field Classic on February 11-13, Josh Bean (HP Class of 2006) placed 9th in the triple jump with a jump of 14.35m (47'1").  He also placed 31st in the long jump with a jump of 6.43m (21'1.25").  Results

On February 13, Grinell College's Dan Krauss (HP Class of 2008) and Mike Gallagher (HP Class of 2006) both competed in the 3000 meter at the Buena Vista University Challenge.   Krauss placed 4th in a time of 9:03.35 and Gallagher placed 7th in 9:09.6.  Results

Zack Weinberg (HP Class of 2006) of Depauw University ran the mile at the Depauw Invitational on February 13th.   He placed 12th in a time of 4:43.78.   Results

Mike Boughdiri (HP Class of 2009) ran the 800 meter at the Monmouth Fighting Scot Indoor Invitational taking place on February 13th.  He placed 8th in a time of 2:00.74.   Results

Back on January 23, Matt Black (HP Class of 2009) competed at the Eastern Illinois University Mega Meet.   Matt ran unattached in the mile and finished in 8th place with a time of 4:42.82.  Matt wore an old Highland Park uniform for the race.
