Andrew Sledd Ties School And Field House Records

The Giants had their second meet of the season, this time hosting New Trier and Lake Zurich.   It was another early season test which showed that we have some strengths but are still lacking in several areas.

Senior Andrew Sledd won both the 200 Meter Dash (24.5) and the 50 Meter Dash (5.8).   His time in the 50 tied his own school and fieldhouse records which he set last season.

Junior Benjy Rogin both the High Hurdles (7.2) and the Low Hurdles (7.1).   He also won the Triple Jump (36'8.5") and the Long Jump (17'10.5").   His time of 7.2 in the High Hurdles puts him on the HP Indoor All-Time Top Ten for the event.  

Junior Shealtial Isreal cleared 6'0" in the High Jump to win the event.

Other winners included sophomore JP Leskovich in the 400 Meter Dash (56.7)  and junior Alec Deer in the Pole Vault (11'0").   Also, the 4X400 Meter Dash (Leskovich, junior Angel Estrada, senior Jacob Perl, and junior Jeremy Bloom) won with a time of 3:54.2.
