Adams Field is an 8 lane track. Only rubber soled shoes or
shoes with spikes not exceeding 1⁄4 inch length will be permitted. The shot and discus areas are concrete, so rubber soled shoes only may be worn. No scratch marks of any kind will be allowed. Chalk, Tape, Bean bags or half tennis balls may be used. Entrance/Exit of the track and infield will only be via the gate north of the home stands; all other entrances will remain closed.
No one except for officials, coaches, and competitors will be
allowed to enter the track area. Team Camps will be permitted along the west perimeter fence of the stadium. If the ground is too wet, camps can also be on the adjacent asphalt. Please have your teams enter through the main SW gate of the stadium upon arrival.
All buses should enter campus at the north entrance near the stadium and tennis courts. Continue around the circle at the Athletic entrance and drop off along the west tennis courts. Once drop off is complete immediately proceed north on Waukegan Rd to the Bannockburn Lake Office Plaza for parking (2nd entrance north).
Locker facilities will NOT be provided.
Spectator admission is FREE.
Concessions will NOT be available.
The Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus will be 4 attempts, no finals. Triple Jump will follow Long Jump. Weigh-in for Shot Put, and Discus will take place at throws area.
The meet will not be scored.
No individual or team awards will be given.
Long Jump 4 Attempts, no Finals. Completed before Triple Jump.
High Jump Starting height determined at coaches meeting. Bar increases by 0.05m(2”).
Triple Jump 4 Attempts, no Finals and will begin after Long Jump.
Shot Put 4 Attempts, no Finals and will begin after Discus.
Discus 4 Attempts. Completed before Shot Put.
Pole Vault Starting height determined at coaches meeting. Bar increases by 0.16m(6”).
