Jose Reyes and Jason Polydoris Medal At Lake County InviteThursday, May 16 2019 - Lake County Track & Field
The Lake County Invite is one of the most competitive meets of the season. The Invite is a great opportunity to measure up against the top track & field athletes in Lake County.
In the 3200 Meter Run, sophomore Jason Polydoris did his best to stay with the leaders and finished in 4th place with a time of 9:30.69. Junior Corey Fairchild had a big personal best as he took 14th in 10:07.72.
Senior Jose Reyes placed 8th in the 1600 Meter Run with a 4:35.47. Polydoris doubled back to take 13th in 4:43.15.
Junior Max Kaplan finished 14th in the 110 Meter High Hurdles with a 17.39.
Sophomores Jaden Holzman and Lucas Ugaz both ran their best times in the 100 Meter Dash with a 12.14 for Holzman and a 12..47 for Ugaz.
Senior Jakob French finished 13th in the 400 Meter Run and ran a personal best :53.75.
Kaplan and junior Eduardo Monk both ran personal best times in the 300 Intermediate Hurdles. Kaplan ran 46.16 and Monk ran 46.27.
Sophomore Gabe Kirsch jumped an outdoor personal best 17’5” in the Long Jump.
With such a young team, the Giants continue to grow and get valuable big meet experience at invites like Lake County.
