Why IBJI?

Our primary goal at IBJI is to reduce the risk of injury while improving performance.  Most strength and conditioning programs have a heavy emphasis towards “more is better.”  At IBJI, our initiative is to build better runners from the ground up.  It starts with a commitment to medical science and a collaborative approach between our orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and strength trainers. IBJI is continually adapting to the latest methods of training in strength and conditioning and combining this with the most recent findings in injury reduction training.  It’s our desire to produce runners that first and foremost stay healthy, but also learn to move better and get stronger. Not only will athletes have access to our training staff, but they will also have direct access to our Sports Medicine Team in case of injury during practice or meets.
